Two students from Asbury Park Middle School have drawn two amazing pictures of two important figures in American history.

To the right we have our current president Barack Obama, which was drawn by Julee Clervoyant.

On the left we have Rosa Parks by Diamond Tucker. Both pieces of art when put together have captured the idea that a bright future always would come.

For instance, this picture for the article was taken with the drawing of Rosa Parks looking at the drawing of Barack Obama.

This symbolized the idea that Rosa Parks helped spark a movement which would not only lead to the unity of all races but to our election of the country’s first Black president, Barack Obama.

In closing, both students did a great job representing Barack Obama
and Rosa Parks through their art.

A big thanks to our artists, Julee
Clervoyant and Diamond Tucker.
