Godfather of Harlem returns

The Emmy-winning series sees returning stars Forest Whitaker, who plays crime boss Bumpy Johnson, Ilfenesh Hadera, Antoinette Crowe-Legacy, Demi Singleton, Jason Alan Carvell and more.

There will be some new faces in season 4, such as Rome Flynn, playing Frank Lucas.

Michael Benjamin Washington plays renowned writer, social critic, and activist James Baldwin, known for his piercing insight into the complexities of race, identity, and human relationships.

Devin Kessler plays Afeni Shakur, Tupac Shakur’s mother.

Swizz Beatz returns as an Executive Producer of the soundtrack.

What to expect for Season 4 of Godfather of Harlem

In Season 4, Bumpy (Forest Whitaker) continues his bloody war for control of Harlem against New York’s Mafia families, while contending with the emergence of a potential rival in newly arrived Black gangster Frank Lucas (Rome Flynn). After Malcolm X’s (Jason Alan Carvell) tragic death, Bumpy must also grapple with his daughter Elise’s (Antoinette Crowe-Legacy) involvement with the Black Panthers.
