The Baltimore Farmers’ Market opens April 13
As Maryland’s largest producers-only market, The Market is a treasured Sunday morning tradition.
The Baltimore Farmers’ Market will return for its 48th season on Sunday, April 13, 2025.
Baltimore Farmers’ Market returns
The Market opens at 7:00 a.m. — rain or shine — underneath the Jones Falls Expressway (JFX) at Holliday and Saratoga Streets and will be open Sundays through December 21, 2025, except for May 25, when The Market will be closed for Artscape.
“We are thrilled to open the market for its 48th season,” says Robyn Murphy, BOPA’s Interim CEO.
“The Baltimore Farmers’ Market is an enduring tradition and BOPA has worked hard to ensure a wonderful experience for patrons and vendors alike. We are proud of our role in supporting local artists and small businesses, increasing access to affordable fresh produce, and creating a space for the community to experience Baltimore’s wide range of culinary talents.”
Quiet Shopping Hours
The Market will continue to offer Quiet Shopping Hours from 7:00–9:00 a.m. to offer a more sensory-friendly environment for people who prefer a calmer shopping experience. During Quiet Shopping Hours there will be no music, buskers, or barkers. From 9:00 a.m. on, visitors can expect all the usual hustle and bustle of the Market.
Parking
Patrons can take advantage of free two-hour parking at the Mary Catherine Bunting Garage, located at 330 Guilford Avenue, courtesy of the continued support and sponsorship of Mercy Personal Physicians – Downtown. The garage is accessible from Pleasant Street and no validation is required.
Vendors
As Maryland’s largest producers-only market, The Market is a treasured Sunday morning tradition. It is a full-blown sensory experience where shoppers can explore mountains of fresh produce in every shape and color, smell fresh coffee brewing and mouth-watering comfort food sizzling on the grill, and browse handmade goods from soaps to furniture — and meet the artisans who made them.
There are several new food and alcohol vendors and artisans joining the Market this year, along with many returning favorites and farms. Some vendors will be on-site all season, while others will be around for part of the season or on occasional Sundays.
