Jarmon, whose life was described as full of promise and warmth, was found after devastating waters overtook parts of Central Texas.
In a moving tribute posted to Facebook, Leander High School officials shared how Jarmon’s joyful spirit and dedication had left an indelible mark on those around him.
“Braxton was more than a musician—he was a source of inspiration, a loyal friend, and a bright light in our program,” the post read.
The tragedy has resonated throughout the city of Leander, where band members, classmates, and neighbors are honoring Jarmon’s legacy through memorials and music.
