Jarrel Gray : Frederick MD Sheriff Cleared in Wrongful Taser Death Case!

One can only imagine the reaction of the family members of Jarrel Gray and what they must have felt when the verdict came back not guilty.

Their disabled deaf son was tasered to death by Sheriff Torres with no repercussions for his actions. He literally got off scott free after tasering Gray who could not hear the officer’s commands which resulted in the officer to use excessive force on the victim. Like many other cases in the United States, a promotion usually follows for an officer who gets away with the killing innocent people.

In Frederick Md, “eight women and two men of the jury decided unanimously that Rudy Torres did not use excessive force against 20-year-old Jarrel Gray when he tasered him twice, once while he was on the ground unresponsive after the first shock. They awarded no damages to Gray’s parents, Jeffrey Gray and Tanya Thomas, who were seeking $145 million.” — Fredrick Post

Jarrel’s cousin Mr. Billy Barton states “my family didn’t bother anyone. Jarrel’s grandma worked at Frederick county jail. I am very upset. Your son is outside with friends and then someone says he is dead.”

Mr. Barton says that Frederick is a redneck city to start with stating “my father had to go into the movies through the back door.”

As Dr. King would say as he quoted from St. Augustine that an “unjust law is no law at all”. And this case is a prime example of the demise of a preempted and horrible pseudo justice system.

Jarrel was a graduate of Frederick High School class of 2005. He was a member of Sharp St. United Methodist Church, a devoted Dallas Cowboy fan, enjoyed music and hanging with Dafellaz. He loved spending time with his brother and sisters.
