In the latest reports in the Trayvon Martin case, the lead homicide detective investigating says he wanted George Zimmerman charged with manslaughter since the incident took place on February 26th.

Lead homicide detective speaks out

A report from ABC News says lead homicide detective Chris Serino of the Sanford Police Department stated he wanted Zimmerman behind bars and charged with manslaughter, but the state attorney’s said there was not enough evidence to make an arrest.

In affidavit, Serino also stated he didn’t believe Zimmerman’s story of events in which he claimed self-defense.
