Thirteen people were charged for their role in the hazing death of FAMU Drum Major who was severely beaten. The case has been categorized as one of the worst college hazing incidents ever.

Hazing Charges for death of FAMU Drum Major Robert Champion

Charges against the band members were announced five months ago after 26-year-old Robert Champion died on a chartered bus parked outside an Orlando hotel.

Champion was severely beaten by fellow band mates and had bruises on his chest, arms, shoulder and back, authorities said. Witness said he was vomiting before he was found unresponsive.

1 of the 13 people will face a hazing resulting in death charge, a third-degree felony. If convicted, they could face up to nearly six years in prison. The other two people will face a misdemeanor charges.
