On September 09, 2014, an evening at the Lincoln Center, the Spring 2015 Collection of the Designers Profiles was presented at The Art Institute Creativity for Life.

Fashion

The stage was set: lights camera, action, music, make-up beat on the models faces, heels on; and they were off and ready to take their places as they strolled down the catwalk/ runway.

Each of the models, respectfully represented the designers with grace and class.

This was surely a night to be remembered for the 13 celebrated designers of the Art Institute of New York City.

The designers were able to bask in the glory of their blood sweat, and tears. They knew it was all worth the many sleepless nights once they heard the “wow’s” and “ahh’s” coming from the audience.

As they reminisce giving birth over and over again to each brilliant new design one after another.

The Art Institute Creativity

Designer: Cecil Dove

“Preparing for this show has been pretty nerve racking, to say the least. This is a big deal and I want to make sure it’s everything it could possibly be.”

Cecil Dove is a graduate, with an Associates of Applied Science, in Fashion Design, from The Art Institute of New York City.

Angelo Rosa

“[Mine is a] youthful, refined, and attainable collection that can be worn for years to come. [It] has a classic elegance which will translate from season to season.”

Jose Medina

“I am working on some new silhouettes and really getting out of my comfort zone with this collection. My fabrics are very delicate and are my biggest challenges at the moment.”

Jose is a graduate, with an Associates of Applied Science, in Fashion Design from The Art Institute of New York City.

Nassim Shadmani

“For this collection [I] have chosen to design each piece utilizing only one seam. It is from this kind of discipline that I will grow as a designer.”

Joshuan Aponte

“This collection demands a level of cleanliness and perfection in the execution that I know is challenging, but I also know ir will all be worth it.”

“Growing up, the thing to have was a Ralph Lauren Polo shirt and I remember that great feeling when I got my first one. I always wanted to give someone that same feeling.”
