Project Ghana
First Ghana Session for 2018-2019: 17th Anniversary of 9/11
Mr. Wronko’s sixth grade class had the pleasure of participating in a video conference with the students in Ghana educating them on 9/11.

Mr. Wronko’s sixth grade class had the pleasure of participating in a video conference with the students in Ghana.
The sixth grade class were very excited to communicate with students who live in another country.
In addition to the students introducing themselves, the sixth grade class read poems regarding 9/11 to the students in Ghana.
Poems about 9/11
The poems about 9/11 dealt with many themes such as surviving, being united, overcoming the darkness, and eliminating the mastermind of this horrific event, Osama Bin Laden.
From there, Mr. Wronko shared a photo album of many images from this event. Based on the images, he informed the students in Ghana and the sixth grade how on this day it did not matter what color or religion you belong to, everyone was united. This event showed how everyone could live in a world free from hatred by helping each other. Mr. Wronko also spoke about how people who worked at ground zero were getting cancer to this very day from this event.
The session ended with this note. The United States today stands strong with the Freedom Tower carrying the spirits of those lost on this tragic day.
