Colin Kaepernick and his Know Your Rights organization will be using its resources to fight against COVID, starting a fund.

With a video posted to Twitter, Kaepernick announced the fund will give financial relief to minorities who are being disproportionately affected by COVID-19. Kaepernick kicked off the fund by donating $100,000 of his own cash.

“Structural racism makes Black & Brown ppl more likely to die from #COVID19,” Kaepernick captioned the video.

“We’ve launched the Know Your Rights Camp COVID-19 Relief Fund to directly impact the disproportionate effect #coronavirus is having on our communities. #WeGotUs”
