Colin Kaepernick announces “Know Your Rights Fund” to help minorities affected by COVID-19
Colin Kaepernick and his Know Your Rights organization will be using its resources to fight against coronavirus,
Colin Kaepernick and his Know Your Rights organization will be using its resources to fight against COVID, starting a fund.
With a video posted to Twitter, Kaepernick announced the fund will give financial relief to minorities who are being disproportionately affected by COVID-19. Kaepernick kicked off the fund by donating $100,000 of his own cash.
“Structural racism makes Black & Brown ppl more likely to die from #COVID19,” Kaepernick captioned the video.
“We’ve launched the Know Your Rights Camp COVID-19 Relief Fund to directly impact the disproportionate effect #coronavirus is having on our communities. #WeGotUs”
