Project Ghana
Ghana Session: A Better America Project/WHAT IF…?/William Shatner Goes To Space!
Before showing them the lift off to space, Mr. Wronko explained that William Shatner would become the oldest person to go into space.
This week’s Ghana session features What If, A Better America, and William Shatner.
Just recently Mr. David Wronko and his students from the Asbury Park High School had another remote session with the students from the Solid Rock Foundation School in Ghana.

During this session, Mr. Wronko wanted his students to practice their public speaking skills by conducting presentations for the students in Ghana.
A Better America
Their presentations were based on the A Better America Project and their science fiction stories of WHAT IF…?.
For the A Better America Project students did presentations on Vivien Thomas, a supervisor for an American laboratory that created a method to treat blue baby syndrome, LeBron James, four-time NBA champion, Serena Williams, tennis champion, and Morgan Freeman, Academy Award winner. The list for the A Better America Project was infinite.
Every week there would be more great people to pick from and for the students to create presentations. Every report presented this week focused on how each individual made contributions to American society making it better for everyone.
What If
After their presentations on the A Better American Project, students were excited to share their WHAT IF…? stories.

Their WHAT IF…? stories dealt with Peter Parker’s involvement with the Eternals and Tony Stark becoming Spider-Man and battling the Green Goblin who in this case was Peter Parker.
The stories were very creative and brought out more of the imagination for the Marvel Universe.
William Shatner Goes To Space

William Shatner Goes To Space
Once presentations were all done, Mr. Wronko shared with Ghana the space flight of William Shatner.
Before showing them the lift off to space, Mr. Wronko explained that William Shatner would become the oldest person to go into space. Even older than John Glenn when he went back to space at the age of 77.
All students together enjoyed Shatner’s flight to space and inspired some more thoughts to reach for the stars.
