It is being described as a house of horrors, and Gloria Williams and her companion is at the helm of it all.

Gloria Williams and her boyfriend Brian Coulter have been arrested in connection with the gruesome discovery of their abandoned children in Houston, Texas, on October 26.

According to reports, authorities charged the couple on Tuesday for abandoning and neglecting the three young children in a home for months at a time while the kids’ eight-year-old brother’s corpse decomposed in the house for more than a year.

Gloria Williams and Brian Coulter Charged

Gloria Y.  Williams, 35, has been charged with injury to a child by omission, failure to provide medical care and failure to provide adequate supervision, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

Brian W. Coulter, 31, is charged with murder in connection with the child’s death, ABC 13 TV reported.

The death of the eight-year-old boy whose skeletal remains were found over the weekend inside a Houston apartment also housing his three starving brothers has been ruled a homicide.

The Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office on Tuesday ruled that the unnamed child suffered multiple blunt force injuries, resulting in his death. The autopsy also revealed the child has been dead for at least a year.

Shocking Discovery

The shocking discovery was made after the eldest child (a 15-year-old) called 911, revealing the details to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

The teen had reportedly been fending for himself and caring for his two younger brothers, collecting food from neighbors.

He told deputies that his mom hasn’t been back in months, leaving him and his two other brothers, ages 7 and 10, alone.

All the while, the children’s mother Gloria Williams lived just 15 minutes away.

Teen Cared For Siblings

Neighbors told ABC13 that the 15-year-old would come to them for food.

One resident, Erica Chapman, said the teen would not accept cooked meals – only packaged snacks, fruit and pizza.

She added that she thought the 15-year-old did not mention his siblings out of fear.

Another neighbor, Trevor Thompson, also said he provided the teen with food.

He described the teen as paranoid and said he was afraid of getting poisoned, which is why he would only accept certain food.

According to reports, in 2019 and 2020, the school district filed truancy papers against Williams, as two children failed to show up to school.
