A greeting card about Whitney Houston which read, “Next time you think of dating the bad boy, consider Whitney Houston”, has been taken off Target’s shelves.
Many are calling a Whitney Houston greeting card offensive.
A greeting card about Whitney Houston which read, “Next time you think of dating the bad boy, consider Whitney Houston”, has been taken off Target’s shelves.
The greeting, which was released before Houston’s death, makes fun at Houston’s marriage to R&B singer, Bobby Brown.
Target believes the card is in poor taste, and decided selling it would be inappropriate as well.
“The card was in our stores prior to Ms. Houston’s death. As soon as this was brought to our attention, we began the process of removing the card from all applicable stores.”
