During an interview with Piers Morgan, George Zimmerman’s brother Robert Zimmerman Jr. claims his brother was barely conscious after getting into a physical altercation with 17-year-old unarmed Trayvon Martin. He claims George Zimmerman only pulled out the gun so he wasn’t disarmed by Trayvon.

“We’re confident the medical records are going to explain all of George’s medical history,” Goerge Zimmerman’s brother Robert Zimmerman Jr. said.

“His nose looks swollen in that video. I’m his brother.”

A newly released video on the night George Zimmerman was taken into custody for questioning for shooting Trayvon Martin shows him with no visible signs of blood or bruises that were documented in police reports. His clean-shaven appearance seems to refute the violent beating he told police.

The video obtained by ABC News, Zimmerman claims seem to be inconsistent with the statements he released to police. The neighborhood watch captain says he shot Trayvon after he was punched in the nose, knocked down and had his head slammed into the ground.
