Protestors Gather at CNN Headquarter’s Over Michael Brown Coverage
On Monday night, at least 250 protesters showed up to the CNN’s headquarters in Atlanta to protest a comment a correspondent made.
If you missed it last night, in a late-night segment, CNN correspondent Rosemary Church asked whether it wouldn’t somehow be better to use water cannons instead tear gas and stun grenades in wake of the recent protests for the Michael Brown shooting. Rosemary, you must not know the U.S. history for you to say something so asinine.
Well the comment has gotten people a little angry more like infuriated, and reports have surfaced protestors emerged in front CNN’s Headquarters in Atlanta, GA.
According to Twitchy, on Monday night, protesters showed up to the network’s headquarters in Atlanta to protest holding signs that read “How good must we look to be considered innocent?” The message was in response to CNN’s coverage late last week and over the weekend that focused on what Brown did to make himself a suspect.
So far, the network hasn’t reported anything about the protests happening in front of their building.
