The photo allegedly shows Univ. of South Carolina student Gracen Tilton holding a marker standing at a classroom white board listing reasons “Why USC WiFi blows.”

The first reason the female student stated was the word “N—ers”.

President Pastides released a statement stating:

“Today, the unfortunate and disappointing act of a student in a study room has challenged the Carolina community to reflect on our values and tell the world what we believe,” it said. ” Respect for all is at the heart of the Carolina Creed, a code by which we agree to abide. Racist and uncivil rhetoric have no place at the University of South Carolina.”

An investigation into the matter continues.
