Today marks the 10 year anniversary death of Aaliyah Dana Haughton.
The rising singer-movie star was killed in a plane crash on August 25th, 2001 in the Bahamas after her “Rock The Boat” video shoot.
Remembering Aaliyah Dana Haughton
BET is set to honor the R&B star with a tribute special commemorating her life.
The show, entitled ‘Aaliyah: One In a Million,’ will feature commentary from Missy Elliott, Timbaland, Patti Labelle, Kelly Rowland and more.
It will start at 8pm tonight.
