The night before Michael Muchioki and Nia Haqq were murdered, Muchioki jokingly told his best friend of 10 years, Kenneth Simpson: "Just tell my story."
Two men, and one woman are currently in custody in connection with the shooting deaths of Nia Haqq, 25, and Michael Muchioki, 27.
They were young, black, good people with a promising future.
