Grand Rapids Officer Christopher Schurr has been charged with second-degree murder for the shooting death of Patrick Lyoya.
The finding by a former Detroit-area medical examiner matches what was seen last week on video released by the Grand Rapids police chief.
The Grand Rapids Police Department has said Lyoya was killed after an officer's gun "discharged" during a "lengthy struggle."
