“We built this network on the idea that people want the truth delivered straight without a corporate boss deciding what makes air,” Lemon said in a statement.

“Almost eleven million followers later, they are still asking for more. So, we are giving them more. More hours, more voices, and now a channel on their televisions.”

Moreover, Lemon said the new network will follow his audience’s shift toward independent media.

“We go where the audience is,” he said.

Channel Will Feature Live Shows and Independent Voices

The Don Lemon Channel will include twice‑daily live programs, daily news drops, archival shows and partner programming from independent creators such as The Monique Pressley Show, Josh the Progressive, Michael Fanone and Dr. Frita.

Swerve TV CEO Steve Shannon said Lemon has built “his own independent network for his more than 10 million followers across multiple platforms,” adding that the new channel will expand his reach and elevate other high‑frequency news voices.

His daily live show streams twice each weekday and has earned Webby Awards and NAACP Image Awards.
