George Zimmerman appeared in Seminole County Court Friday for a bond hearing before Judge Kenneth Lester Jr who set the bond for $150,000 also requiring an electronic monitoring with a GPS.

Zimmerman will not be released today, and the judge said any permission to leave Florida should be worked out with the sheriff’s department.

In addition, Zimmerman is not allowed any contact with the Martin family. Possession of firearms and consumption of alcohol is also prohibited. He has a curfew and he must also report his location every three days.

George Zimmerman took the stand and stated:

“I wanted to say I am sorry for the loss of your son. I did not know how old he was, I thought he was a little bit younger than I am and I did not know if he was armed or not.”
