Kerry Washington returns for Season Two of Audible’s “The Prophecy” set for Sept. 25
The new season launches Thursday, September 25, exclusively from Audible.
Audible has announced the highly anticipated return of The Prophecy, its hit audio series featuring Kerry Washington that immerses listeners in a world of mystery, faith, and supernatural intrigue.
In Season 2 of the Audible Original, Washington reprises her role as Dr. Virginia Edwards and once again serves as executive producer. The new season launches Thursday, September 25, exclusively from Audible.

Season 2 is created by Randy McKinnon, who returns to continue his captivating audio thriller. The series is directed by Malakai (The Chi) and written by Diandra Pendleton-Thompson (Star Trek: Prodigy), ensuring a bold, emotionally resonant continuation of the story.
Synopsis
In this new chapter, Dr. Virginia Edwards flees Detroit with her infant son Joshua, pursued by the enigmatic cult leader Luther Bell, voiced by Esposito. Alongside allies played by Hill, Feliz, and Obsidian, Virginia must decode an ancient prophecy that could determine humanity’s fate. The immersive production, available in Dolby Atmos, delivers cinematic soundscapes and emotionally charged performances that elevate the audio drama format.
