7-year-old Georgia boy in medically induced coma after being hit while running to school bus stop

A 7‑year‑old Georgia boy named Aiden remains in a medically induced coma after a pickup truck hit him while he ran toward a school bus stop in Rome.

Crash Occurred as Aiden Ran Toward His Bus Stop

Police said the crash happened shortly after 7 a.m. on Chateau Drive as a white Ford F‑150 traveled north. Aiden entered the roadway near 48 Chateau Drive.

Officials also said the driver was not speeding, showed no impairment and stayed at the scene.
