Jury selection will begin today in this high-profile case which gained the attention because of its similarity to Trayvon Martin. Davis was killed just months after Trayvon Martin.
Dunn alleges he asked the group of teenagers to turn down loud music as he sat in a gas station parking lot. He then states after being threatened with a gun, he shot at the vehicle Davis and his friends were sitting in.
But, police never found in or around the the vehicle. Dunn however, shot Davis eight times killing him. He has maintained his innocence, and has pleaded not guilty.
Dunn was charged with first degree murder and three counts of attempted first-degree murder.
