Black History Month celebrates Wilbur V. Martin. Wilbur V. Martin is a Vietnam Veteran who served the United States proud.

Wilbur V Martin is a Vietnam Veteran who served the United States proud. Besides serving in the Vietnam War, Mr. Martin is currently giving public speeches regarding his experiences as well as encouraging people to do good things for their country.

For instance, he attended a Veterans Day and Memorial Day assembly at Asbury Park Middle School. During those assemblies, Mr. Martin stressed the importance of good citizenship, education, and why those willing to serve and give their life for the United States should not be forgotten.
As we celebrate Black History Month, let’s us remember and say thank you to the efforts of Mr. Martin for protecting our country.
