Candle-Light Vigil
TOMORROW: Wednesday, October 6, 2010
4:00 PM Wilson Hall Steps
Rain site inside on the Grand StaircaseMany of you have already heard about the tragedy at Rutgers University that cost the life of Tyler Clementi (age 18). You may not have also heard about the recent deaths of Billy Lucas (15), Seth Walsh (13), and Asher Brown (13). All four reportedly
committed suicide rather than endure the daily violence of anti-gay harassment, bullying, and hate. This is a tragedy on an epic, and for so many…a daily scale. Monmouth University says enough is enough to all forms of bullying, hate, and harassment. Join us, for a candle light vigil to remember these and other lives lost to hate and bullying. Join
us, to embrace tolerance and a caring community. Join us, to unite as one campus, to create a safe space for everyone who calls Monmouth University home!Sincerely
