Vigil will be held at Monmouth University in remembrance of Tyler Clementi
In remembrance of Tyler Clementi, locally Monmouth University will have a vigil to remember the young vibrant life.

In the wake of the tragic news of Tyler Clementi, a Rutgers University student who died by suicide after a live-feed was streamed over the internet broadcasting a sexual encounter with a man, has caused national outrage and frustration.

Anger across the country has people talking about how to prevent such a tragedy again, creating an open dialogue and a place for people to come for refuge.
Within the past week, five people have died by suicide because of gay-related cyber-bullying. In remembrance of Tyler Clementi, Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey will have a vigil to remember the young vibrant life.

committed suicide rather than endure the daily violence of anti-gay harassment, bullying, and hate.This is a tragedy on an epic, and for so many…a daily scale. Monmouth University says enough is enough to all forms of bullying, hate, and harassment. Join us, for a candle light vigil to remember these and other lives lost to hate and bullying. Join
