National Night Out will be held August 2
The National Night Out Against Crime will hold its 28th Annual unique drug/crime prevention event on Tuesday August 2, 2011.

The National Night Out Against Crime will hold its 28th Annual unique drug/crime prevention event on Tuesday August 2, 2011.
NNO involves citizens, communities, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, neighborhood organizations from over 15,000 communities from across the country.
Be apart of the change and support your community in the fight to stop drugs and violence.
Check the website, NNO, to see if your community is participating this year.
Since we also cover the local area, Neptune, Asbury, Red Bank, and Long Branch will each be having a National Night Out. Please contact your local police for more details.
National Night Out Asbury Park:
The city will host its annual National Night Out event 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the West Side recreation area, Bangs Avenue between Asbury Park Middle School and Barack Obama Elementary School.
Long Branch:
Night Out for 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Slocum Park, and will have free pizza, hot dogs and cakes as well as games, demonstrations and gifts donated by local sponsors.
