13-year-old Kira Goddard died after shooing kids out of the way of an out of control SUV driven by a wounded driver before it crushed her, state police and witnesses said.

Kira Goddard shouted out a warning to the kids before the Range Rover crashed in front of her Brooklyn, New York home.

Sean Lewis, who was stabbed in the torso, was driving when he hit three double parked cars. He backed up, hit a parked car, and flipped his vehicle.

The vehicle pinned Kira onto her front steps of her home. She died at the scene.

“She always told me she loved me,” said Kira’s devastated father, Wesley Bishop, 59, a construction worker. “She last called me to make sure I took my medication – my [blood] pressure pills. She always did.”

Lewis was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police are investigating how and when he was stabbed. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
