7 of the 11 people charged in the hazing death of Florida A&M University drum major Robert Champion have turned themselves in.
Florida Department of Law Enforcement spokeswoman Gretl Plessinger said Thursday that the seven defendants turned themselves in to authorities in five jurisdictions around Florida.
There are 11 defendants who face third-degree felony hazing charges. Two others are charged with misdemeanors. Four of them are still at large. Two are in Georgia and another is in Delaware.
