Music Review: Justin Bieber – “Journals”
The critics have panned his new album for many reasons, but in my opinion I feel they are all based on past performance.

The critics have panned Justin Beiber’s new album for many reasons, but in my opinion I feel they are all based on past performance.
Let’s take all his recent antics off the table and see reality…he has an incredible voice and range, he is a grown man at nineteen and because of that has experienced grown up things, then he decides to go full on R&B on top of that!
Oh watch out, we’ve got trouble in the music industry. Of course, because of these factors they never gave Bieber a fair shot. I on the other hand am about good music being just that, good music, and this is just that for Bieber.
“Journals” is a very personal and adult filled piece of musical work, and he’s going to lose some of his younger fans based on his choice of genre and content.
I do agree somewhat when they’ve said that he lacks confident on more sexual content songs, which is something you need when you are on a song with Mr. Sex himself R.Kelly.
Other than that, the tracks are well constructed and you can’t deny his talent. So take a listen and judge for yourself (…one of my faves is “One Life”).
