Dunn appeared to show no immediate reaction to the verdict reading but later, he turned around and somberly shook his head toward his father, according to CNN.
Davis parents were in the courtroom and let out a quiet gasp as the verdict was read.
Charged with murder
Dunn, 47, was charged with murder after shooting into an SUV full of teenagers at a Jacksonville, Florida, gas station following an argument over the music coming from the teens vehicle.
In February Michael Dunn was found guilty on three counts of attempted murder and one count of firing a gun into a car.
The jury could not come to a consensus on the murder charge therefore Dunn was retried.
Prosecutors ascertained that Dunn fired his gun into the car filled with teenagers after a dispute over loud music.
Dunn said he shot in self-defense, stating he feared for his life after seeing a gun the group of teens had. A weapon was never recovered.
