While most students would be happy to get into just one Ivy League School, Harold Ekeh has a lot of boasting and then some.

While most students would be happy to get into just one Ivy League School, Harold Ekeh has a lot of boasting and then some.
About Harold Ekeh
The Salutatorian from Elmont High School on Long Island, NY achieved a remarkable and rare accomplishment; acceptance to all eight prestigious Ivy League schools.
The student told CBS this he was “Absolutely shocked. It was as though I was hit repeatedly. I was stunned,”
Ekeh noted his family’s humble beginnings, thirst for education and desire to make a meaningful mark on society as his inspiration.
“I am just thanking god for what he is doing for my family in the life of my son,” Harold’s mother Roseline said.
Well rounded
Not only does Harold excel academically, but he also volunteers for social justice campaigns, does academic mentoring, plays sports, and was elected to Elmont’s homecoming court and honor society.
The 17-year-old is leaning towards Yale, but hasn’t visited the other schools, which he plans to do next week.
Another Long Island student was recently accepted to all eight Ivy League schools. Kwasi Enin made national news in 2014. He decided to attend Yale.
