The highly anticipated trailer for the documentary on Jazz singing sensation Nina Simone is finally here.
Nina Simone’s Documentary
Entitled What Happened, Miss Simone? the Netflix produced documentary uses rare archival footage and never seen before interviews to paint a portrait of the singing legend, one that captures an artist, political activist, and family woman.
“As fragile as she was strong. As vulnerable as she was dynamic. Most people are afraid to be as honest as she lived,” says in the closing of the trailer.
The trailer points that the documentary will be enlightened with raw footage of a woman who was imperfect but a fighter through it all.
