Brown Skin by Travis Little shines light on the beauty of just simply being black.
We stumbled upon this video on happenstance, and it was definite worth the meeting of the eye. The artist is Travis Little and we’re surprised we hadn’t known him any sooner.
Travis Little released the official video for “Brown Skin” off his recently released mixtape Gate Keeper.
Brown Skin shines light on the beauty of just simply being Black. It embraces women of color and sends the message to love yourself and the skin you’re in.
Furthermore for the sistas, it shows there are BBlack en who love us, unapologetically. It is definitely a great Black empowerment song.
Travis Little’s music shows true artistry as he differentiates himself from other artists who often talk about money, cars, and girls. With his eccentric style, I’m sure we’ll be hearing more from him.
