Legendary rapper Prodigy dead at 42
Unheard Voices has learned hip-hop legend, Prodigy, of the rap group Mobb Deep has passed away in Las Vegas. He was 42 years old.

Unheard Voices has learned hip-hop legend, rapper Prodigy, of the rap group Mobb Deep has passed away.
Rapper Prodigy Dead
Prodigy’s publicist confirmed he was hospitalized a few days ago in Las Vegas after a Mobb Deep performance due to complications from sickle cell anemia. The publicist said they have not yet determined the exact cause of death.
Prodigy, real name Albert Johnson, and his rap partner, Havoc, formed Mobb Deep in NYC in the early ’90s. Their biggest hits include “Quiet Storm” and “Shook Ones.”
He was 42. Rest in peace Prodigy.
