I was introduced to Dr. Brandon Rogers timeless voice one day just browsing on social media. After only listening for two seconds, I knew I had to follow him.
Dr Brandon Rogers dies
Brandon was known as the “singing doctor”. It was not only impressive that he was a witty doctor at 29 years of age, but Brandon also had incredible creative talent.
After hearing about the passing of Brandon, my heart sank. He had recently landed a spot on America’s Got Talent and his episode was to air in July, sources say.
Brandon died Sunday as a result of a one car accident in Maryland. He was a passenger in the car. Witnesses say the driver walked away with only minor injuries.
The singing doctor
Producers from the reality competition series discovered Rogers after they saw his Instagram cover of Boyz II Men’s “On Bended Knee.”
In April, Rogers shared a video of himself on Instagram performing alongside the R&B group. “#tbt my start to 2017. still can’t believe this happened 😩🙌🏽 …. FOREVER grateful @boyziimen,” he captioned the post.
Boyz II Men on Rogers
After learning of Roger’s passing, Boyz II Men left their heartfelt condolences:
“Today our hearts are deeply saddened to learn about the sudden death of Dr. Brandon Rogers. A few moths back we brought this young man out to the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas to perform with us. He was great all 3 nights! Just a genuinely nice person and a really good singer! Gone too young and gone too soon,” they wrote.
“It hurts to know that the world will never have a chance to witness what his impact on the world could have been as a Doctor and even on the music world. A great spirit and a great voice. Even for the little time we knew you you will be sorely missed. May God Bless, keep and comfort your family in this difficult time,” the post continued.
Rogers frequently posted videos of himself covering a variation of songs from multiple genres on social media.
He showed immense talent, and people will deeply miss him. Brandon reminds everyone to live life to the fullest.
Unheard Voices sends its heartfelt condolences to Brandon Rogers family, friends, and loved ones.
