Researchers discovered 11 new gravesites in Virginia that they believe belong to enslaved African Americans.

The graves sit in Bull Run Regional Park, located in Fairfax County, Va.

In 2022, researchers used ground-penetrating radar and found 91 graves belonging to enslaved African Americans in the park. This week, researchers found 11 more graves.
