CHURCHY series starring Kevin “KevOnStage” Fredericks renewed for a second season
Kevin “KevOnStage” Fredericks will reprise his role as “Corey Carr Jr.” as he continues his spirited journey in Lubbock, TX. As Corey has come to realize, small-town life offers far more surprises—and laughs—than he bargained for.
The widely popular workplace comedy CHURCHY is coming back to BET+ for season 2.
According to Paramount/BET+, the first season quickly broke ground on BET+, becoming the number one scripted comedy series on the platform in its debut week.
CHURCHY Season 2
Kevin “KevOnStage” Fredericks will reprise his role as “Corey Carr Jr.” as he continues his spirited journey in Lubbock, TX. As Corey has come to realize, small-town life offers far more surprises—and laughs—than he bargained for.
Alongside Fredricks, fan favorites Anthony Elfoniza, Lexi Allen, and Mark J.P. Hood will return, and viewers can also expect some new faces including Quin Walter, Tahir Moore, Nic Few, Tony Baker, and the beloved Tabitha Brown.
Production
Fredericks and and his wife Melissa Fredericks will return to executive produce for KevOnStage Studios. LeBron James, Maverick Carter, Jamal Henderson, and Lezlie Wills are executive producers for SpringHill.

The first season is now streaming only on BET+, and beginning on Tuesday, November 5 season 1 will begin airing on BET(cable) at 6:00p PT/9:00p ET.
