Help promising football player’s dream to go from a HBCU to the NFL
A GoFundMe has been started by Jeremiah’s mother to help her son achieve his dream.

Jeremiah Pruitte, a talented tight end from Florida A&M University, has received an invitation to the prestigious NFL HBCU Combine. This is a significant opportunity for Jeremiah to showcase his skills to scouts and potentially launch his professional football career.
A GoFundMe has been started by Jeremiah’s mother to help her son achieve his dream.
A football player’s dream
“Pruitte has been invited to the NFL HBCU Combine—a moment that could truly change his life. It’s his chance to stand in front of every NFL team and show them why he deserves a shot. But to get there, he needs training, nutrition, and preparation that I simply can’t afford on my own. The specialized training he needs to be his best at this combine is expensive, and while I’ve always found a way, this time, I can’t do it alone.”
About the HBCU Combine
The 2025 HBCU NFL Combine will be held on Feb. 17 at the Oshsner Sports Performance Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. This will be the fourth year of the event, which aims to highlight players who graduated from HBCU programs and have declared for the 2025 NFL Draft. The Black College Football Hall of Fame and the NFL hosts the showcase event.
About Jeremiah Pruitte
Pruitte’s invite come after his senior football season, in which he helped FAMU to a 7-5 record under first-year head coach James Colzie III.
Pruitte transferred to FAMU from Colorado State and converted from wide receiver to tight end. During college, Pruitte caught 37 passes for 415 yards and five touchdowns. Before the 2024 season, Pruitte was also named to the Senior Bowl watchlist.
Here’s what also makes Jeremiah Pruitte special:
- Position: Hyrbid TE/WR
- 40-yard dash: 4.46 seconds (elite speed for a tight end).
- Broad jump: 11 feet (elite distance for a tight end- incredible explosiveness).
- Height: 6’5″
- Weight: 230-235 pounds (targeting 240 to enhance his power and performance and be NFL ready).
GoFundMe
Pruitte’s family has started a GoFundMe to ensure he can train and focus on his dream.
Their goal is to raise $7,500-$10,000 for training, nutrition, and resources needed to excel at this opportunity.
The 2025 NFL Draft runs from Thursday, April 24 to April 26.
“Every single dollar will go toward making sure he has the tools he needs to walk into that combine prepared to shine.
If you’ve ever believed in a dream, if you’ve ever wanted to see someone you love beat the odds, I’m asking you to believe in us.”
