40 Acres sneak preview
Presented by The Luminal Theater and 3 Chambers, this special South Carolina preview unfolds under the stars on Saturday, June 21 from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM (gates open at 7:00 PM) at Saloma Acres in Blythewood. It’s all part of the Luminal Theater’s, FILMS AT THE FARM outdoor movie series.
Movie synopsis
In the aftermath of plagues and war, the Freemans have carved out a life on a remote farm—resilient, resourceful, and battle-hardened. Hailey (Danielle Deadwyler), a former soldier, and her partner Galen (Michael Greyeyes) escaped the collapse with their children, raising them to survive at any cost. But when their eldest, Emanuel (Kataem O’Connor), crosses paths with a mysterious young woman (Milcania Diaz-Rojas) beyond the safety of the fence, his yearning for connection threatens to unravel everything they’ve fought to protect.
