Maxwell Anderson in April 2024 was charged with first-degree intentional homicide, dismembering a corpse, arson and hiding a corpse in connection with Sade Robinson’s death.
Maxwell Anderson, a Milwaukee man accused of killing and dismembering 19-year-old college student Sade Robinson after a date has been found guilty.
In April 2024 Anderson was charged with first-degree intentional homicide, dismembering a corpse, arson and hiding a corpse in connection with Sade Robinson’s death. The jury convicted Anderson on all four counts.
Investigators believe Anderson killed Robinson on their first date on April 1, 2024, then dismembered her body and scattered the remains across Milwaukee County.
Robinson was last seen alive at Anderson’s home. Her arm was later discovered at a Waukegan beach.
The next day, her 2020 Honda Civic was found torched. Surveillance footage showed Anderson leaving the scene, prosecutors said.
Authorities arrested Anderson two days later during a traffic stop by the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office.
Maxwell Anderson faces a mandatory life sentence in prison when he’s sentenced Aug. 15.
