The Do’s and Don’ts: How To Get Your Music Played On Unheard Voices
CEO of Unheard Voices Networks, Chenelle Covin, shares how to get your music played on Unheard Voices Radio and Unheard Voices Weekly Rotation.

I receive numerous notes from independent and unsigned artist “dropping” their music videos in my inbox, emails saying “ayo check me out” without any reference to music, or questions how to get your music selected to be played on the Unheard Voices website.
As the Editor-in-Chief, who also heads all music department as well, I enjoy hearing new fresh music but there is a way to get your music played on Unheard Voices. I’m going to tell you how:
1. All music must be clean and edited. Example, if you’re talking about killing folks, extremely explicit lyrics, then your music WILL NOT be considered.
2. Pitch yourself like a professional. Don’t start off messages “ayo check out me out”. State your artist name, photos, location, genre, bio, and a couple of mp3’s. Or provide a link where the information can be obtained.
3. Send mp3 submissions to the properly
UV Unsigned and Indie Room is posted on a daily basis. UV Unsigned and Indie Spotlight Radio is scheduled every Wednesday and Friday at 6:30pm.
