Jersey-bred rapper Hasan Salaam gathers an incredible lineup of musicians and MCs, video artists, jewelry makers and others for a worthy cause.

Hasan Salaam, will be holding a concert at 92YTribeca in celebration of his recent album, “Music is My Weapon” and “It Takes a Village Initiative” Saturday, March 3rd. We recently chatted with Hasan Salaam about his latest project, and the initiative which will fund a school, clean water, and a medical clinic in Guinea-Bissau, West Africa.
Along with himself, he has gathered a lineup including Red Clay, Brown Rice Family, Kalae All Day, A Band Called Fuse, MC Enigma & Bishop The Eastside Nappyhead DJ Oja on the wheels. The event will be hosted by Northstar of Division X & La Bruja with special guests Lord Jamar, Lady Luck, Rugged N Raw & more TBA. There will also be products on sale by, Livi Designs, KupiArt & All Is One.
