Independent artist Eric Benet brings down the house in Atlantic City
Atlantic City looked beautiful as you could not tell that super storm Sandy had ever been anywhere close to the jersey shore area. It was a great night for soulful music and Eric Benet delivered it right on time.

Atlantic City looked beautiful as you could not tell that super storm Sandy had ever been anywhere close to the Jersey Shore area.
Eric Benet in Atlantic City
Eric Benet was sensational as he sang to a packed house at the Harrahs Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey on Saturday Jan 19th. His soulful sound captured the audience especially the ladies as soon as his voice radiated across the stage. Every note was perfect as he mesmerized and interacted with his dedicated faithful fans. His connection to his fans was demonstrated as he had the audience singing along with him. He sang “Harriet Jones”, “News For You” and “Real Love” from his new album along with others of his soulful music.
He encouraged his fans to get his new album. When he said album he had to laugh when using the old terminology for today’s technology. Benet said “you know I am old school” and told the audience that he appreciates their support that has been keeping him around for years. Then he jokingly said “make sure you buy not download for free. Parents, you know a kid in college gets expensive especially when she goes to the USC.”
He was so down to earth and connected to the packed theater.
Independent artist
Eric talked about being an independent artist and the feeling of control that you have when working in this mode. Instead of giving his money to Warner Brothers Records he can now keep it in his pocket. More and more artists are heading in this direction of becoming independent.
Eric Benet electrified the crowd by closing with the famous song Georgy Porgy.
Unheard Voices gives Eric Benet 2 thumbs up! Just pure greatness!
