Chinx Funeral Details
Chinx’s family announced on Thursday that the rapper’s wake and funeral will take place Tuesday at Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of New York in Jamaica, Queens. The ceremony will start at 11 a.m. EST.
At the same time the rapper’s manager, Doug Ellison, has also set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for Chinx’s wife and kids following his death. So far it has raised more than $9,000 in just four days.
“Instead of sending flowers, please consider helping the family fill part of the financial void,” reads a message from Ellison on the GoFundMe page.<
“Your donations will help provide much needed financial stability to a family who deserves so much more than what they have been dealt. We cannot replace the warmth, charisma, wit, charm, and love that Chinx gave to not only his family, and friends, but also, his fans. We can however, help keep them focused on what really matters, and that is each other.”
Chinx will be memorialized Tuesday May 26th in Jamaica Queens. The details are as follows:
Wake: Tuesday May 26th 2015 11am
The Greater Allen A.M.E Cathedral of New York
110-31 Merrick Blvd, Jamaica N.Y. 11433
Funeral: Tuesday May 26th 2015 12 Noon
