The exact cause of death is unknown but the coroner’s office said her death doesn’t appear suspicious at this time. However, the medical examiner will conduct an autopsy of her body because “further studies” were needed to determine a cause of death.
Family seeks answers
Jones family told a reporter at 19 Action News in Cleveland that she had medical issues and they took her medication while she was incarcerated. The family also said they have yet to hear from police about Jones’ death, and they “just want answers.”
