Barry, a biopic about President Barack Obama, will be released on Netflix on December 16th. To gear up for the release of the film, Netflix has released a teaser for Barry, for viewers to enjoy.
About Barry biopic
Starring Devon Terrell as a young Obama, Barry focuses on Obama’s junior year at Columbia University in 1981, during which time he started to develop his opinions on government, race and other matters and truly started to shape the path he would eventually take to become president.
The film first premiered last September at the Special Presentations at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival.
Barry is the second biopic to examine the life of President Obama. The first, Southside With You, followed the story of a young Barack Obama asking Michelle Robinson out on their first date in 1989.
