Sadeek Clark-Harrison shot in home
Sadeek Clark-Harrison approached the front door when he heard knocking around 3 a.m. Sunday at his Frankford home, news station WPVI reported.
But a single shot was fired through the door, striking him in the head, the outlet reported. He was at home with his grandmother and 10-year-old sister at the time, KYW-TV reported.
According to authorities, emergency medics attempted life saving efforts but unfortunately Sadeek died at the scene.
“That’s my king, my son, my star, my moon, my shine — they took it away from me,” his mother, Lisa Clark, told the news station. “They dimmed the light on me when they took my son away from me.
Suspects
Authorities said no arrests have been made and the search is becoming difficult as the shooter shot through the door, ran from the scene, and they don’t have a description to go off of.
Deputy Commissioner Melvin Singleton said, “I hope that in situations like this, the community feels a sense of urgency to provide us with some information to apprehend or give some investigative help. So if anyone has any information, please come forward.”
Sadeek’s aunt, Alicia Johnson, is demanding answers. She said, “Our kids are dying out here. They’re dying. They aren’t making it past 16 out here.”
