Each year US News: America’s Best Colleges, presents its list of the best Historically Black college’s and universities in the country by doing an intensive and comprehensive study on schools private and public.

2. Howard University
3. Morehouse College (all male institution)
4. Fisk University
5. Xavier University of Louisiana
6. Hampton University (tie)
6. Tuskegee University (tie)
8. Clafin University
9. Dillard University
10. North Carolina Central University
